  1. Nice work, It must have taken a fair amount of time (and skill) to mask the areas to be colorised and include the castle image. I’d love to see the colorised Doré without Castle BIrr (although, I know that’s the point of your excellent illustration).
It’s just the Doré is such a work on it’s own.
    Beautiful.

    • Thank you! It did indeed take quite some time.

I agree, the Doré is gorgeous. So much of his work is, but this is one of my favorites.

I’ll see if I can dig up my colorised file. If I recall correctly, I didn’t actually colorise the part that the castle would cover up. But if I did I’ll post that for you.

      Thanks for reading (and commenting)!

  2. Wood home furniture has one thing extremely all natural regarding it.
There is this feeling of warmth, of nature as well as of luxury that could be be discovered in wood furnishings.
Wood is actually birthed from the planet. It feeds the fire, falls to
pieces in to ashes and also drafts away. It
is actually extremely near the human existence
on earth. Might be actually that is actually why
it sounds a lot along with our company. May be actually that is actually why you still get that warm emotion when you contact a wealthy mahogany workdesk.
