Admittedly, it feels a bit strange to post a writeup of week 5 the day after week 6 is complete. I’ve been working hard on some graphic improvements to the table format I introduced last week. Sadly, I did not complete all those improvements. However, rather than wait until I have them all done, I will start inserting graphics as I complete them.
So, without further delay: FAABulous prize$ for the Liga in week 5.
Several teams extended their streaks of goodbyes. Although the first week of a streak is worth $0 bonus, the second week is worth $1 bonus. This Fibonacci streaker bonus (F) becomes part of the multiplier and is added to the $13 base amount.

The Best-of-the-Worst award in Week 5: Tequila Whistlers (155.28 FP in a losing effort). For this, the Whistlers get the usual $13 award AND “the pot.” In this case, the pot is $189, so the total award amount is $202.
In related news, the Lucky SOB Award once again goes to 11. Er . . . to These Go To 11 (108.33 FP) , to The Number Crunchers (106.36 FP), and to Marcella (an impressively-poor 84.17 FP). Any of these teams would have lost to the loser Whistlers in week 5. Heck, they would have lost to losers The Crab Traps (142.67 FP) and The Spir’tual Pimps (119.04). Marcella would have even lost to loser The Seaward in week 5, who only managed to score 104.82 FP.
Clearly, you are all Lucky SOBs. $1 to each of you.
I’ll try to get week 6 results up earlier—but I will have the adjustments made by Tuesday night at the latest (like I did tonight). That means y’all still have time to bid with your new money before waivers kick over tomorrow morning.
